5 Ways To Use Video In Your Coaching Business

Is anyone else laughing at all those business owners who are like, you'll never see me using Tiktok you won't see me dancing for my business, you'll never see me pointing at things over there. And where are they now?
That's right.
They're running and hot tailing it over to tiktok because that's where everybody is!
They are even making Instagram reels or Facebook reels or YouTube shorts, or tiktiok's.

But yeah, video is hot right now. And in particular short form video is hot right now, and really powerful for for your coaching, or your course creation business. And that is what we are talking about today.

My name is Remi, I am from the online business temple. And the temple was created to help coaches and course creators to double their income and make more money. The hottest commodity right now, when we talk about marketing is video.

So whether that is short form videos or whether that's long form videos, videos is the most powerful tool, you as a coach or a course creator has to connect to people to get people to like you get people to learn about you to position yourself as an expert, so that they trust you enough to come and buy from you when you put your offers out there. Video is your friend.

So the first type of way that you can use video in your coaching business is of course, like what I've just mentioned is short form content, which is the hottest commodity right now, which is getting you incredible reach. And by reach I mean eyeballs every time you put a video out, say on Tik Tok, or on Instagram reels or on Facebook reels or on YouTube stories, the reach the amount of eyeballs of new people that get to see your content is phenomenal in comparison to everything else in comparison to, let's say single posts that you might put out on your Facebook business page, or what you might put out on your Instagram feed, you are getting such low numbers, algorithmic family, algorithmic, mainly, we're gonna go with that. versus what you get on the short form video content is phenomenal, like because they are worlds apart.

So this is why you are seeing now those business owners who said they would never dance and never point out things are now hopping onto these platforms. And by the way, you don't just have to dance or pointer things in order to make reels or tiktoks. There are a million different ways that you can engage with your your customer base. That video is hot and videos is something that we would encourage any clients at the temple to be doing when we're talking about marketing. And driving sales, is to be using video as a way to connect as a way to position yourself and as a way for people to look at you and go, Hey, I like that person. I like her vibe or his vibe. I like what they are saying. I like what they're talking about. I want to work with them. And it keeps you top of mind. So being visible using video is your most powerful tool. And if you're not yet doing that, I encourage you my friend, to just start, please just get going.

The other way that you can use video in your business is live so you could go live like I'm going live right now. Right? I hit the button gone live, I'm talking to you. Anything can happen. Often it does happen. Often there's a dog over my shoulder. This is why we have blurred background by the way. There's often a dog, he's in a blanket sleeping right now. But sometimes we get a little bit of puppy porn happen in life. Sometimes we get a naked child stroll by often given a warning she just doesn't listen to her mother. So we get a child. Anything can happen when you are like right. So life brings an element of danger but it also brings fun and I think it also actually people like see mistakes as well right mistakes, being a bit more vulnerable to getting what you're gonna say stuffing up a word like I did earlier. Like she's happens on a live and I think that is what helps people really get to like you seeing you like thrive under pressure to see what you're like when mistakes happen. That is all good stuff. So if you're not going I would encourage you to start going live more. And the other important reason why go live is so important is because it sends out notifications, people get things pop up on their phone, not just like a normal Facebook notification, but it overlays. Right? Sometimes it will come down like any other important message, like when you get an email drop. And that is what we want. We want those big notifications to take up room on our peoples, our followers, fans, our friends, whoever is following us, we want them to be notified that we are going live, I want you to get that notification. So you can go oh, what's Remi talking about today, and come and check me out. And on that note, it's really important also, that you use really good titles in your videos. Like they are the headline grabbers. They're the things that are going to make people stop what they're doing to come and watch, right? If you're using dry titles, or worse, no titles, like please don't go live that I know, what are you doing, always use a title. Because that's what will get people to stop. That's the flag that we're waving, like, Hey, I know you've got 6 million other things on your feed right now. But please stop and come and watch me. That's what's gonna do it the notification. And not just the notification. That's not enough, but a really bang in title, that what is what your people want to hear about. That's what's going to get them to come and watch your live. So use lives. You can use lives, on Instagram, Facebook, all the places LinkedIn, my brains gone dead, because it's alive. So you can use live in so many different platforms as a way to really engage in real time to answer questions to give people the opportunity to ask you questions, to position yourself as an expert lives are beautiful, magical moments that you can be creating right now. They don't have to be, you know, 60 minute, 90 minute long sake, you could go live for five or 10 minutes. And that's enough, we're getting the notification, we're getting the eyeballs. And then the other thing about lives is you might go live, and if there's nobody there, who cares, because the majority of your live videos will be seen on a replays and if you're live and you're talking and there's no one there, don't even worry about it. Because you know that the majority of people are going to watch this on a replay. So don't worry about it, you still should show up, even if no one is there to watch you. But if people are there, then give them an opportunity to engage with you ask questions or ask them if they need help so that you can support them. Use it to your full advantage, my friend.

So what's the other way that you can use video in your business, you can use stories now stories are great stories give people more access to you. So when you're normally posting on social media, with your normal posts, or if you are using reels of stories often or what you should be doing is using those tools to promote your business. Now with stories, this is a nice opportunity for people to get to know you to see you. You can do some behind the scenes, you can show them examples of things that you're working on, you could literally just tell them about their day. And I know some of you will be sitting there going well nobody wants to know about my day, you have no idea how impactful it could be to hear somebody or somebody to hear you talking about what you're doing in their day, that might be the motivation that they need, that might be the inspiration that they need. And if they see you as somebody motivational and inspirational, that could be the decision they make about whether they book with you next time, or if they book with somebody else, right? So sometimes I just go live and I talk about what I'm doing today, what my diary looks like how many clients I've got. And at the end of the day, I'll talk about how those client sessions went. What was some I often like pull out a nugget of something that's come up a topic that's come up during the day, and I'll discuss that on a story because I know that it's going to be impactful to my audience, right? So I don't mean just go live and talk about your did I just talk about what you're doing in a day, you know, show them your desk space, show them if you make products or something, show them your office space, show them you packaging something right, it gives behind the scenes and that really builds on the know like and trust factor. It really allows somebody to connect you more when they see behind the scenes because yes, they'll see all your business promotions and you talking about your business pillars and all of that good stuff. But actually, what's going to really get them over the line is if they trust you, and if they feel like oh I know a bit more about her, then it's or him then they or they let's include everybody hurt him or they of course then that is going to be the thing that might help them to you know, make a decision about purchasing and booking your coaching services or buying your of course.

And then the other way that you can use video in your coaching business is blogs, right video blogs. And these are again, talking to the camera about a topic, a pillar in your business, solving a problem talking about solution talking about an outcome, talking to camera. And then you could use that blog in many different ways. The first thing you could do with a blog is you could cut it up, or you could pass it to an outsourced editor to cut up those vlogs. And put those into short form content for you. So that that could give you a batch of reels that you could use, for example, you could use a blog and put it on your blog itself. So your blog, visitors can access that content. But also, it will be discoverable by the search engines, assuming you're using keywords and filling out all the right SEO boxes, right. And then the other thing that you can do with a blog as of course, you can put your blog video onto YouTube, which is a ginormous massive search engine and itself, which allows you to be discovered by new audiences. And why do we want to be discovered by new audiences, because new people could become new leads and new potential buyers. And that's what we want in our business, we want to drive more sales into our business from new people. And that allows us to have that freedom lifestyle that we want, right, we earn more money, which probably means we can take on more staff, which reduces our workload, which means we are working less than we have more time for the things that we want to do whatever that looks like for you. That's the end game that we're trying to get you to.

And then of course, the final final thing that you can use video for in your business is, as a coach, you are probably doing one to ones. So using videos and zoom things like that you can use video for that. If you're running any group programs, or small group programs, or masterminds or any groups type of thing, then of course video is going to be your best friend to do that. Unless you're doing that in real world doing face to face meetups face to face group sessions or masterminding, then using video is a great and powerful way to get that eye to eye connection with your people and to build that relationship. And of course, if you're running any workshops, or webinars or anything evergreen like that, then you're gonna want to use video to create that thing that people can access and of course courses that you're selling again, short courses, long courses, whatever it is you're doing video video is your friend, video is transformative in terms of the power it has to get people to book with you or to buy from you.
