EFF The vanity metrics….

So many people post online, then hope for LOTS of comments or engagement on their posts… and when this doesn’t happen they feel sad and they feel like a failure.

But they are not.

You can have a ton of engagement - but no sales happening.
You can have no engagement - & still make sales.

Just like accounts that go viral.
Woohoo, amazing, other than notability & street cred… did it bring you any sales?
Probably not.

I teach my clients to market their business onlines and post ‘without expectation’.

This is a deep mindset thing.

Because you have to be strong of mind to put yourself out there every day.

Imagine stepping out onto a theatre stage to do your live performance….
and all the seats were empty.

That’s a tough gig for sure.

But the show must go on…

Because…

There’s always late comers, there’s always stragglers and there’s always someone watching in the dark recesses of the room.

You may not see them, but they see you.

This is why I encourage posting without expectation.

I do not expect anyone to like this, share this or engage on it.

I share it because I KNOW it will be seen and read and leave an impression.

Heck, I mean the stats literally tell me how many people view it, so I KNOW my message is being seen. I just don’t need to be validated by a response.

I also know that my messaging works by the amount of conversations happening behind the scenes in my DM’s. 🔥

Infact, my highest sales come from conversations in the DM’s, it always has.

So on the front end, my posts may look like they have low engagement but on the back end I have high engagement and high conversions. And I'm very happy with that.

Coaches and course creators, please don’t feel like you are not making a impact if you have low or slow engagement on your posts.

What really matters is if the people who need to see it, are seeing it, and are having conversations with you privately.

That’s where the magic happens.
