So today, I wanted to talk about how to be a leader.
And actually, in particular, this is talking about working less.

This is actually about working less, and being a leader in that way. So when we talk about working less, one of the skills that we have to adopt to as small business owners and I know for many people, this is really, really a hard skill is learning how to delegate, and how to take work that we are doing and give it to someone else.

And if you've ever tried to hire a VA, you know what I'm talking about. You suddenly realize that you have to create the work or be in a position to be able to explain what that work is how you want it done. And conveying that to another human being to do it for you. That can take a lot of work. And that can be really hard if you are not instinctively a natural born leader.

So one of the things that we do at the temple is we train coaches and course creators, how to be strong leaders how to build a team, how to communicate what your needs are and what you want done. Because it's not just about giving a piece of work to somebody to do. It's also about making sure that they understand what is required. They understand what the deliverables are... what they are supposed to give back to you, and when they are supposed to give back to you.

And part of training that we offer to help you to become a really good leader is understanding how you communicate effectively.
But also, how do you hold that person accountable? How do you follow up? How do you deal with an outsourced employee? So whether that's a freelancer.. Or actually, if it's somebody who's part of your team? How do you deal with that when things go wrong, when perhaps they are not doing what you want them to do or in a way that you want them to do?

This is all part of the package that we offer at the temple.
And I'll be sharing with you later on this week, a particular way in which you can come and work with us in the temple.
But this is just a small nugget of what we do in the temple when we talk about working less and earning more money, how to be a leader and how to grow team and how to delegate, how to outsource is all part of our training and what we do at the temple.

So I just wanted you to think about if you are in a position where your workload is advancing, or perhaps you are your diary is full of bookings, that perhaps you are at a point now where you need to start thinking about outsourcing some work, bringing on a team member, and really starting to think about whether or not you have the right skill set where you are right now, to actually bring on a team member to train somebody to induct somebody into your business. And we also help you get your business into a position that makes it easier for you to bring people into your business because perhaps your business is effective and works but perhaps it's not organized, perhaps there are not systems in place.

And perhaps you might be a little bit embarrassed about actually letting somebody into your business because things are a bit of a mess. And you feel ashamed about that. And that can hold you stuck. And that can really inhibit your prep your progress because you're so embarrassed about the state of your business that you don't want to bring anybody in because you're like I don't want anybody to see that. Everything's a bit of a mess.
