The Power of '𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁' Pricing with Gamification
In the pursuit of injecting more joy into my business, I embarked on a journey to integrate fun and gamification into my business and subsequently... my pricing strategy.
The result?
A thrilling offer in December bringing in 105 new paying clients.
And a new offering in January filling up quickly with three price points, allowing customers to choose what they want to pay.
No strings attached, no judgment passed – just pure, unadulterated fun.

Why does business have to be so serious all the time?
That's the question that led me to explore the wonders of play, fun and gamification.
Turning the mundane into a game not only spices things up but also engages customers in a whole new way.
The element of fun, after all, is a universal language that transcends the boundaries of age, background, and preferences.
𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝟯 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝗹
Enter the realm of choice – a playground of possibilities.
My recent offer boasts three distinct price points.
The beauty lies in the hands of the customer; they get to decide how much they value the experience of working with me.
And here's the kicker – I'm genuinely thrilled with whatever they choose, be it the lowest tier, the middle ground, or the grandest option. It's their game, their rules. No one is treated differently.

Gamification isn't just about sprinkling pixie dust on a pricing model; it's about creating an immersive experience.
The thrill of choice, the excitement of exploration – these are the elements that turn a transaction into an adventure.
And when customers are having fun, it's a win for everyone involved – the business, the customers, and even the skeptics.
𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘇𝗲: 𝗔𝗗𝗛𝗗 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 '𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁' 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗮
One of my clients, navigating the intricate maze of ADHD, shared an intriguing perspective with me via DM the other day.
For her, the 'pay what you want' model was a double-edged sword.
While the freedom to choose appealed to her sense of autonomy, it also triggered a paradox of indecision.
The abundance of options made the decision-making process a mental marathon.
It also tapped into her apologist nature and this caused her to pause before buying.
Have you ever had this come up for you?
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘅 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗮?
Now, I'm curious. Does the paradox of choice resonate with you?
Have you ever found yourself standing at the crossroads of options, unsure of which path to take?
It's a dilemma we all face in various aspects of life, and pricing decisions are no exception.
𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 '𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁' 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀
Choice is a powerful thing, but I know that it can also be overwhelming.
If the prospect of choosing a price sends your brain into a whirlwind, fear not – you're not alone.
Remember, you get to choose and there's no wrong answer.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
In the grand tapestry of business strategies, the 'pay what you want' model, coupled with gamification, emerges as a vibrant thread.
It weaves a narrative of enjoyment, empowerment, and flexibility.
So, as you navigate the pricing playground, remember – it's not just a transaction; it's a journey, an experience, and most importantly, a celebration of choice.
Join the fun, embrace the challenge, and let the games begin!
