Hello, hello, Remi here from the online business temple. Today, I'm here to talk about, well really ask you... what growing pains have you experienced in your business?

And I wanted to share a couple of the growing pains I had, when I first started.

1. When I first started, the first growing pain I had, was really about self identity, and how how I could get people to get to know me and to trust me, and to know that what I was offering was good, it was good value, and to get people to buy. And that was a real problem at first, because I didn't know how to do that. So I had to get a coach, I worked with a coach. And that helped me to kind of really get in touch with, you know, what my mission was, what my purpose was, and to feel more confident around actually showing up visibly so that people could get to know like, and trust me. So that was my first sort of growing pains when I first started out in business.

2. The second growing pain I had was actually a lack of sales in the beginning. I remember mainly mostly for that first year, hardly making any sales. Even though I knew what I was doing, I wasn't actually able to convey that in a really concise and clear way. So I had to work on getting clarity around my messaging. And I had to put out the right offers at the right price point for the right audience that I was serving. Before I started seeing those sales come in. I even did some free work at the beginning to make sure I could find my feet, test out what I was doing, and to get those feedback and that testimonial in the early days to really help accelerate my business forward because people could see Oh, other people have worked. So maybe they might try. So that was a real hurdle for me was the lack of sales in the beginning, but clarity around what I was offering, what my mission was what the purpose was. Once I had that, then that changed for me.

3. So the third thing that I wanted to share with you around growing pains I experienced as a small business owner was around hiring the right people. And this is a common thing that I now see with the clients that I work with. They want to scale they want to grow, but they're really scared, or they've had really bad experiences of hiring the wrong people. And as I've been growing my own team, I've experienced this, and at the beginning hired the wrong people. And it didn't work out. And it's kind of a process that you kind of have to go through hiring the wrong people in order to help you figure out what it is you want. And actually, when it comes to hiring somebody, it really is about how you communicate and what it is you want them to do. Making sure they understand that and then trusting them to be able to do that without micromanaging everything they are doing. So hiring a team was a real, a real growing pain for me, but I feel like I'm at an even keel with that now. So that's really awesome.

So what I want to leave you with is just a little reminder to say that starting a business and growing a business is hard. And it is a bumpy road. Or it can be a bumpy road. But it's also part of the journey. And it's also part of your growth and what will make you great as a business owner.
